Last weekend the Formula 1 season begun as Valterri Bottas took the win ahead of last season’s champion Lewis Hamilton. As always with a new season brings a new sense of hope for the upcoming year.

Over the past 9 seasons, the winning driver has either raced for Red Bull or Mercedes, and the two powerhouse manufacturers will certainly be jostling again to claim the top spot come the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi.

Another car manufacturer also looking to wrestle themselves back to the top and end their 10 year baron spell without winning a constructors championship is Ferrari.

Scuderia Ferrari are synonymous with Formula 1 racing and with Sebastian Vettel looking to add a 5th World Championship to his own tally, they certainly have the means to put up a big challenge this year.

As already noted after the first race of the season, Ferrari didn’t perform as well as they hoped and as reports would suggest, they are working hard to ensure that their cars and drivers are ready to push for a podium finish in Bahrain in a fortnight’s time.

A lot of chatter prior to the opening race, was that Ferrari would be favourites going into this season. The expectations are high, especially after the launch of this year’s car in February and the new team principal, Mattia Binotto was lauding the praises of how the car has drastically improved since last year.

At the launch event, Ferrari’s drivers and staff were dressed in their legendary Ferrari suits. Everyone affiliated to the car manufacturer looked stylish and unified as they represented the brand attempting to regain their place at the top of the pile.

There shouldn’t be any surprise that this multi million pound sport makes the most of their public eye line, every teams overalls are emblazoned in sponsors. With the season running throughout the year the opportunities for sponsors to be in the public eye line year round is priceless. This shows as throughout the build up to any race, all drivers and pit crew can always be seen in their manufacturers team apparel from tech t-shirts to hoodies and hats. For this particular sport looking as one in the teams clothing is a necessity.

No sooner have the drivers finished the race than they are grabbing sponsor embroidered hats to wear for post-race interviews and media responsibilities.
